Hi Peeps, If you’re like me you’ll want to make every room have character and style. When designing kids rooms though I also like to add a lot of fun and hopefully learning along the way if possible.
I have looked through many articles and research many many designs in order to achieve the final result. Whilst doing this I’ve kept in mind, practicality, character, storage (for all those toys), and made sure its is fun for the kids.
Take a look at my collection. I’m sure, like me, you will find ideas which get your creative juices flowing.Sophie Metz Design brings a great design if you have limited space. The whole room is made up to look like its in a little cabin. The white wooden clad walls match that of the bunk bed. The cute stairs up to the top bunk have a lot of character. A very bright, fun little room for the kids to relax, sleep and have fun. All aboard the fun train. This themed bedroom by McCaffrey Homes has a lovely array of colours for your kids. The whole room encompasses that of a train station. A great design from Copper Gyer Design gives the room a magical, mystical feel. The ceiling is the focal point, looking like a cloud of colours with spot lights. The rest of the rooms colours reflect that of the ceiling. The bed has great use of storage beneath for all there toys. Now here is a bed design which I thought could not be ignored. Incorporated have used this uniquely designed cluster of bunk beds which not only are they bunk beds but tunnel into one another making quite an attractive, fun design to. There are a few small modifications I would make for my little diamonds like a bed rail to stop them from falling out while they are asleep. This would be a simple modification to make. A unique design and very neat. Bilinkoff has used a light wood to create a creat cabin bed which has a great bit of private space for your kids to ‘chillax’! and upstairs has a great space for the sleeping area. I love the way the slats go all the way up to the ceiling giving a cosy, private and relaxing space to sleep.
