The white colour is offset with the fantastic colours used on the ceiling and the walls. Again there is a mixture with the use of materials as the island uses dark wood and a black marble. The contrast to the rest of the kitchen is excellent and works well.
Light oak floors bring a solid warm feel to the room. The cream cabinets just add to this, however, when using this colour you need to keep lighting in mind as if you don’t this space can be ruined as it will look dark. The marble worktops help reflect and cascade the light around the room further.
Shabby chic is definitely the best descriptive for this eloquent design. The use of deigner lighting really makes this stand out from the crowd. The chrome appliances gives it a sleek modern feel whilst inter mixed with a Victorian style. This design works well and is a good contender in a young home.
This design depicts the modern, hectic family life. The way this kitchen space is designed makes sense of this hectic life style and gives everything a suitable place to bring a sense of calm. The family dinner table in the forefront, made from wood to bring a warmth. The breakfast bar with hanging lights and backed raised chairs so the social aspect of family life isn’t lost whilst someone is cooking. Then in the far right the computer sits subtly away so that the kids can do their home work supervised or you can just chat to your family over Skype .
We love how the central island in this creation is presented in a dull calming grey tone. It separates the island from the rest of the kitchen so to maybe form a social area. The glass panel cupboard adds a traditional look, displaying your best china.
